my parents have been entrepreneurs since the beginning of the 2000s, including opening a local shop that sells gardening tools, home goods, school supplies, electronic devices etc. in 2022 big co-op opened their new store across the street and it has been hard for local businesses ever since. my parents decided to permanently close their shop in summer 2023. 

this photo series is a appreciation for my parents’ legacy and their unmatchable teamwork through all these years. my dear friends uku and ingrit are portraying my parents martti and killu, wearing their old glasses and work clothes that have my parents’ names embroidered on them.
