this is a performance piece that is centered around my own staged funeral. autoportraits are based on the culture of photographing the deceased in estonia and visually inspired by selected authors (andres serrano, ana mendieta, tv series ‘six feet under’). photo series is accompanied by video clips documentating the rehearshal of the performative funeral day.
